Will this mean I will get high res videos on the YouTube app on the iPhone? Because a lot of the videos look like crap on the phone.

is it right, that these highjer quality vid's are in H.264 ? I mean, the same version Like the Apple TV get's from YouTube ?

yea i upload my own videos and i noticed the high quality option too..i googled it up and got nothing..it's nice to finally read something about it..thanks!

You can do this manually on any video, if there's a higher quality version available, it'll get shown.

&fmt=18 is the key:

I actually find &fmt=6 better than &fmt=18..

I'm still wondering why not all videos don't get the "Watch this in high quality" option

I guess not all videos have been uploaded / stored in a higher quality.
