Reno, have a look:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IPv6

<<Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6) is a network layer for packet-switched internetworks. It is designated as the successor of IPv4, the current version of the Internet Protocol, for general use on the Internet.

The main change brought by IPv6 is a much larger address space that allows greater flexibility in assigning addresses.>>

IPV6 prop could also be the dual stack moblization efforts for the WiFi sprecturm that they are about to obtain. Afterall, V4 <=>v6 stacks are already in existense in most of the newer OS'es and devices (Even your mobile device!)

It seems Virgin Media doesn't connect to IPV6 addresses yet although I was able to find the IPV6 logo at http://www.google.com/images/ipv6_logo.gif aswell.
