Verizon wins bids on 'open' spectrum, Google doesn't. This must be a shocker to google / andriod and a host of other plans!!

I think the outcome is great for Google. Their android based phones will be allowed to use the C-Block spectrum and users can download any content/applications that they choose. Plus Google doesn't have to create a wireless carrier of its own.
