Google and the National Hurricane Center will release a tool that will allow residents in Hurricane danger zones to look up their address and see if they are in a storm surge area. No word yet on when the tool will be released. The Atlantic Hurricane season starts on June 1.

I wonder if this will be a layer on Google Earth or maybe a mashup with Google Maps.
