Today, i spent about 2 hours to find an article i bookmarked before but i forgot where exactly.
I tried to remember where did i saved it?in my Firefox bookmarks? and if yes on which OS. on my Fedora Linux or on Windows. may be i used iexplorer or did i save it in Google bookmarks because i used it for a while before i stopped? (because it is very basic, you can't even import your links). i am sure it is not in google shared stuff because i never used it.
Did i save it on http://del.icio.us/ or on stumble upon?

I really wonder why Google didn't improve its Google bookmarks or buy a social bookmarking site?
I think this is urgent, a platform where you can save and even share your bookmarks is very interesting for users and for Google itself because such information reveal with precision what users are interested in and help to tune other services according to the user Concerns.

isn't it?

I find Google Bookmarks adequate to my needs. I can access my bookmarks (via the Google Toolbar on Firefox) on my PC, Laptop and at College (off my PenDrive)

I would love the option to share specific tags with friends, rather than ALL bookmarks.

Google Bookmarks is very simple, you can't import a list, you can't synchronize them with your browser bookmarks. and sharing some selected bookmarks with friends in the same place.
