[Hey, Philipp]

Since, google has answered you before, I was wondering if you could ask them if they anonymize the ip sessions of gmail (including the session when first registering) after 18 months too along with the cookies and ip numbers of searches?

I think Google's initiative to anonymize logs was strictly related to users who don't have/use a Google account.

"By anonymizing our server logs after 18-24 months, we think we’re striking the right balance between two goals: continuing to improve Google’s services for you, while providing more transparency and certainty about our retention practices. In the future, it's possible that data retention laws will obligate us to retain logs for longer periods. Of course, you can always choose to have us retain this data for more personalized services like Search History. But that's up to you."

Phillip, did you ask google about ip sessions of gmail?

By the way, it is interesting that google does not consider your ip number to be personal data when, in fact, google hides you ip number when you send emails.
