Garmin has a press release.

It talks about sending Google Maps search results directly to Garnin devices [GPS receivers]. I think, starting April 1, 2008, that perhaps there will be a "Send to Garmin" feature on the Google maps page. I do not know if it is the normal map page or a special page for use with Garmin.

Currently the Send To feature works for Garmin & TomTom systems aswell as BMWs and Mercedes cars.

Find a business in Google Maps, select it, and then click the Send link, on the dialog select either Car or GPS. I currently only see BMW under Car but the Google help says Mercedes cars are supported.
