I'm trying to make a profile pic, where it has a pic i already have made up, supporting Obama, but also my face being faded in so people still know its my profile.
Anyoine know how to do this in the GIMP (I'm too poor to use PS)

The Gimp is far better than Photoshop.
Just go to Dialogs then the Layer dialog and decrease opacity on the layer you want to make semi transparent.
