I haven't seen this anywhere, but in the Google Docs list I am now seeing an option for Advanced Search and the ability to save searches; which is all rather nice – but I'd prefer Offline fuctionality first.
To be honest, the Google Docs auto-suggest for search works brilliantly anyway meaning the saved searches functionality is degraded by an existing feature that makes searching a doddle and the tags system; well, that's my anyway – others may prefer this. |
I really like this feature... And I don't agree with Martin on the degrading issue. That's an excellent complement: you can search quickly for any keyword in the search box and access docs very fast with autosuggest, while the label system get a pretty good overview of docs organization with colors, and saved search organized them according to complex operators...
One question. What is this gadget and where can I find it? http://www.google.com/google-d-s/images/new_doclistsavesearch.gif (from the new features" page)
It's not the classic docs gadget which has be redesigned hours ago: http://www.google.com/ig/directory?url=www.google.com/ig/modules/docs.xml |
