Google Docs autosave "bug"

I'm currently writing my final report in Google Docs – this way I can work on it whereever I am, and people can correct all my mistakes at the same time.

I have noticed a strange bug, though – Every time Google Docs autosaves, it inserts a space in my document. It is not that big a deal, but annoying none the less.

Have anyone else experienced this?

This apparently only happens when the cursor is on an empty line.

I am experiencing the same feature. By the way, does anyone know how to disable auto save (or configure it)? I am working in a large doc and it seems to auto save all too often, making me wait for the save to complete.
