Nothing new here. AdSense for Feeds is an old program from 2005 that was available in a limited beta.

There's no other choice. Feed readers filter anything else: JS code, iframes, embedded objects etc.

I remember that my colleague Luka has filled a form in Feedburner months ago for adding AdSense ads in Zorgloob's feed. We have never seen any ad in this feed.

Are you sure it wasn't for adding AdSense ads on the site and complementing FeedBurner's limited inventory?
