I want to use Google's Web History but I constantly have to sign in to make it work. If I close a web browser then open it again, the web history will be off and I have to sign in to turn it on again. This is a really big pain! How can I keep it on permanently. I don't mind logging in to see the history, but I dislike having to constantly sign in to make it record the history.

I have McAfee anti-virus software installed. Is this somehow causing this problem?

You do not need to login to record the history....or do you mean manually adding entries?

Obviously you need to be logged in to associate the queries or the pages you visit with a Google account.
