NASA's Phoenix Mars Lander has landed on the red planet today (May 25, 2008). It has already started sending new images of the northern polar region of Mars. I would expect that Google Mars will be updated in the coming weeks/months with new imagery and data associated with this new mission.

not really because the images it is taking are on ground level.

Maybe a street-view version for mars?!

Well at least they can mark where the Phoenix Mars Lander is located. They did that for both Spirit and Opportunity rovers.

I'd love to see a ground view of Mars.
