Currently i have a site which has a domain name of http://www.utills.com ...but it does not feature anything at the moment except a redirect to my blog.

Wherever I link online I use this the utills.com as the link. I now intend to move over to a host away from BlogSpot and am wondering whether or not my pagerank would carry through since I am all the links online say utills.com ?

Any idea?

plus...any links on how to move my blogger database over to a new webhost? is it just a simple change of URL or is it more complicated?

Just my opinion: I stay away from any redirects at all. I have a gut-feeling this or that search engine might not understand it perfectly well, even when you do a permanent redirect HTTP header.
