Yeah, the Google Reader gadget is awesome.

I also like Super Digg (it shows more info when you right-click which isn't immediately obvious):

And of course I have to recommend my own gadget, which colors the parts of the iGoogle page that the themes do not:
google.com/ig/directory?url=sy ...
(it uses no images so it won't slow loading time, and it lets you choose from a list or specify your own colors through hex values)

Apparently .. iGoogle doesn't appeal to Google users ...

Hmm, I don't use iGoogle really. Last times I tried, it was also a bit slower than the normal Google homepage, and as I'm actually always visiting google.com before searching... :)
