And a French company has filed a complaint against Google Analytics because... it's free. So this web-analytics company is lose clients, and claims it's because of Google ^^

What about normal server logs that most server generates?
If I understand correctly (though it might not be what the actual ruling is), is that "How will everyone react to this".
