Has anyone used CustomizeGoogle?

I can't see how this can be any good. What is the point in getting rid of Google Ads. If we cut off their revenue source , how will that allow Google to expand. Plus the Ads are useful!

Also CustomizeGoogle is antagonising the problems in Google Book Search (copying the books) by allowing users to print the pages, how is this going to allow Google Book Search to develop?! It's just going to make the fragile relationship between publishers and Google even worse.

Does anyone agree with this?

Does anyone know exactly which restrictions it removes in Google Book Search? The Blog doesn't tell much...

is there a way for google to disable services to those using cusotomizegoogle? or some other way to break it?

Blocking ads isn't it's only feature, and it's disabled by default. I'm guessing it would be simple for google to block it, but not many people use it so it's probably not a big priority now.
