These magnets are called "Sonic Rocks" and Google says "They sizzle! They chirp! They buzz!". I tried ordering them but they don't ship to Germany.

These have been up for a while, they are also sold as OIDZ! Philipp so try a search for them, also from dealextreme at http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.6949 for $2.21/€1.40 including delivery, which is where I purchased mine. Delivery is slow though. |
Thanks James, I ordered them there now. |
I remember my cousin bought a pair of those with an even fancier name (can't recall what it was though, probably something like love magnets) last year at the State Fair for like $5. I felt that he got ripped off. |
oh! someone tried to sell those things in the train here. It was 3 pesos, less than 1 US dollar! |
i have this with me (not from Google though) They are fun to play with :) |
Yeah, they are fun.. my little brothers had them too.
I think i would have buy them just for that cool Google box.. :P |
Well, I have them now and think they are not that great :) |
Hey! These are the singing mokey balls from ThinkGeek! http://www.thinkgeek.com/geektoys/cubegoodies/8c94/
Well i guess it's not original to thinkgeek either.. |
<< Well, I have them now and think they are not that great :) >>
They're made for little kids. Grown-ups are not supposed to play with it more than 5 minutes.. :P
But they are cool in your office, when you have nothing to do, or when you're on the phone.. ;) |

Who says grown-ups can't enjoy what little kids do? |
No.. i enjoy stupid things that little kids like to play.. Like Legos and stuff like that..
But this particular item isn't fun anymore after some time.. |
Well for the record I do enjoy the Geomag magnets :) http://images.google.com/images?hl=en&q=geomag&btnG=Search+Images&gbv=2 But it seems you can be more creative with them even when they're just a "thinking tool" most of the time... But perhaps I'll find some tricks with the "rattlesnake magnets" as they were called (they shipped from Hong Kong). |
