Google thinks I am in UK

Google thinks that I am in the UK (whether I am signed in or not). I know this because if I do a product search, most of the hits are in the UK. Also
on the Google main page I have a radio button that gives me a search option for web pages from the UK.

My language is set to English, but how do I set the locality?

Thanks,
Tom

I found the problem...
The setting for my google bar were set to the UK.

Duh...
