I see no problem with them investing in good stuff because it benefits them. Isn't that what everyone should be doing?
Similarly, Google operates a lot on doing what's best for the customer (although they aren't perfect), and they know that will turn out being better for them. Everyone else seems to think screwing over their customers is the only way to make money. |
Geothermy may be good when it's natural, but cracking the ground and injecting water into it seems like a bad idea. (See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Geothermal_power#Disadvantages) That may also sound stupid: Solar energy is just nice because the heat would be anyway lost, but there, we're pumping heat out of the earth. I don't think it will ever do anything harmful, but yet... |
