Am sure everyone has seen engineering pictures of the new Android (and its chin). Andy Rubin has a reputation for innovative software (and hardware) – see the Sidekick.
Nothing happens by chance in Google – that chin allows the new G1 (when turned 90 degrees) to work as a web browser – without touching the screen (dirty marks etc).
