Hello the notice was here since the beginning of the project. I have been really happy to see that somebody is actually doing something for nature and that I can help simply by searching the net (which is a task I perform numerous times a day). It is a shame it ended so early and in a such an unlucky way. I hope forestle will resolve the problem and reestablish partnership with goole.

Strange they use yards instead of meters.

<< Please only click on Google sponsored links if you are really interested in them. >>

I don't think you're supposed to draw attention or reference the ads at all...

And in the Google AdSense Program Policies under "Encouraging clicks" it says:

"Publishers participating in the AdSense program: May not compensate users for viewing ads or performing searches, or promise compensation to a ****third party**** for such behavior."

They are indirectly asking people to "save the rainforest" by clicking on ads...

<< Forestle is a "green Internet search engine". We use our advertising revenue to protect endangered rainforest regions in order to keep our worlds most precious ecosystems intact and fight global warming.

Forestle earns advertising revenue from clicks on "sponsored links", which are displayed next to the normal search results in our search engine. These sponsored links are delivered by our partner Google.

Note: Only click on sponsored links if you are really interested in them. You harm Forestle, Google and the advertising companies with artificial clicking.

All of our income at www.Forestle.org (minus administrative costs) is donated to our partner The Nature Conservancy. The Nature Conservancy uses this money in their adopt an acre program in order to sustain the rainforests. >>

Google did the exact same thing with ads we ran on our site musicscene.org funny how they wait until it comes time to pay before they claim they have a problem. And then they proceed not to answer any emails or give any reason for cancelling, my guess is they are screwing many people out of their fair share of ad money this way, with no recourse.

Well that didn't take long, I posted about this site on August 26th and 3 days later it gets rejected by Google.
