Microsoft Live doesn't like Google Chrome

Yesterday all went fine with Microsoft Live when browsing with Google Chrome. Now they ask to upgrade your browser and only three options are given: Internet Explorer, Firefox & Safari.

Nasty isn't it. I didn't have any problems working with it yesterday BTW...

You mean Hotmail, not Microsoft Live. There's a link to a light version of Hotmail that works well in Chrome. If the full-featured Hotmail is supported by Safari, it should also work in Chrome, but Microsoft probably changed the browser detection code.

Ionut, indeed. Full version was still available yesterday. Now they made it unavailable by putting the warning screen in between. Strange that it works this way, one should think that they'll exclude all unknown browsers....
