Is Blogoscoped getting bought? Maybe who ever buying it is going to have him run their ad campaign and until it's announced, they are making him take the old ads down.

This might suggest why you've taken down the ads. Why else take down ads? Every hour, you probably make a few bucks or more.. Something is going on. I can feel it.
