I'm probably not the only one to have spotted the following codes for upcoming (or current) project.
Do you know to which products they could be/are related? - GOANNA (the Australian monitor lizard? an encouragement for Anna Patterson, from Cuil?) - COMPASS (the Java Search Engine Framework? the comprehensive assembler? the particle experiment at CERN? the Chinese satellite navigation system?) - OPENCOB (an open COmon Business (Operating Language) stuff for finance/business/administrative management?) - PSPC (an special interface for Palm-Size PC?) - WISE (sth for the company that built their Cambridge HQ?)
Any idea? Any other product "codes"? |
wise = Google Spreadsheets (now, a part of Google Docs) pspc = Personalized page for Google Apps
Where did you see the other ones? |
actually google spreadsheets is known as trix. i've never heard of wise inside google |
"The service name for Spreadsheets is wise." according to http://code.google.com/apis/spreadsheets/developers_guide_protocol.html
Here's the log in page: https://www.google.com/accounts/ServiceLogin?service=wise |
I'm getting GOANNA for both Google Accounts and Google Apps:
https://www.google.com/accounts/ServiceLogin?service=goanna https://www.google.com/a/google.com/ServiceLogin?service=goanna
Could it just be an extension to the old "Google Online Assessment" service?
I've just added it to my list of service names now (where "pspc" and "wise" were already listed):
http://ruscoe.net/google/google-account-service-names/
I don't know where you're seeing COMPASS and OPENCOB though... |
I saw them when logging out of the google.com Google Apps.
It triggers this URL: http://www.google.com/a/google.com/Logout2?ils=analytics,appsvideo,cl,compass,cp,goanna,groups2,ig,jotspot,mail,opencob,pages,pspc,talk,wise,writely

Ah, nice find!
Before now, I've checked the source of the logout page which used to use images to sign you out of all the services but nothing new ever seemed to appear there. |
So these would be Google Apps only? or do you think its open to any kind of Google Account? |
