It seems so popular. How exactly do you use it? Are there like RSS feeds or something? I would like to think I am pretty tech savvy but I just don't get it. |
I don't get its appeal either, since I long ago figured it out to be the ultimate modern time-waster, or maybe "-fragmentarizer"... a way to broadcast, thus needlessly prolong momentary existence of SMS-length "thoughtlets" and inane announcements of anyone. Only broadcasting them would be bad enough, but then it also creates archives, aggregation, search, and ways and means of syndication (via, you guessed it, RSS and rich APIs) for all these thought waste products, in all perpetuity. Next logical step in line, the Supertweet™: writing hashes of individual tweets diectly to readers' retinae with lasers! |
Is it a kind of gossip aggregator or regurgitator? |
