Here's the thing: those links work well if you're in the US, but not outside US. Unfortunately, the homepage promo is not geo-restricted to the US.
Try a proxy like hidemyass.com/ .

Has this been the first ever 404 on Goog homepage. Their QA might be slipping I think and it is a classical case of right hand not talking to the left.
At least it has been fixed very fast.. Good on ya, Google.

A while ago Google was pushing this ad to me about buying Google cycling jersey. Since I bike a lot, I was thinking about getting it, but the website was consistently saying that the item does not exists. At some point I even called big G and ask what is going on.
