It seems to be a redirect error when going to http://desktop.google.com/ with a Linux PC. http://desktop.google.com/en/ seems to work fine

With Linux ? I've got a screenshot handy if necessary. That's a Google 404, just like the ones we get before product releases.
And I'm in the UK for the year, so doesn't work here (UK) :-)

I think you have a problem with the language of your browser. Try to clear your cookies.

Jerome : using PicasaWebAlbums for hotlink is a very bad idea ;)

The first one was on my laptop/ubuntu/firefox/francais/home connexion
But the problem is occuring on uni computer/windows/firefox/english/uni network.
Same thing occurs on IE on Windows by the way.

So not a cache pb.Clearing cookies, history, etc, does nothing.

It was the last time I used it for hotlink. I promise :)

I don't think it's a bad idea to hotlink PicasaWeb images, but you should use the URL provided by Google (the "embed image" section).
