It's a bit of a shame that someone who put it together made a mistake in the credits. Instead of Craig Silverstein they wrote Craig Silverman :( |
"Wouldn’t it be nice to have all the information stored in one place" – Yeah it is call the internet. Although you will not find the place your hide your house key, you will find how to break into houses without a trace. What is the deference?
Interplanetary? So does this mean that Mars will now get a better internet connection than New Zealand? Then again there are some people who seem to be on a different planet that it would be good to email. |
Where I put my house key is something I should remember and Google should not be party to, thanks.
Note to Google: get some work done.

Why can't you upload a new version of a YouTube video and keep the same URL? |

Flickr allows this but I guess it could have undesirable consequences if YouTube allowed this. Say someone uploaded a really funny video which got millions of views and then reached the top spot of the Most Viewed videos; you could then sell that placement to advertisers and upload a video ad for their product instead. Since many people view the Most Viewed videos, that would then get lots of views. Not too serious but it would be annoying... |

There are benefits and risks to that. Imagine a terrific video gets 1000s of "5 star" ratings and has people in the comments shout "bravo, I agree"... and then the video owner replaces that video with a video advertising viagra, or inverting the original political message, etc. And imagine people embedding that video on their own site. Perhaps they embedded a kid-friendly video on a kid's site, and all of a sudden, it's showing some semi-shocking stuff. |
Cynical minds think alike... ;-) |
