I think this kind of testing is showing that Google clearly realizes that what they have for the default in Japan today is not successful in taking users from Yahoo!
I question whether the design of a search services' homepage has much to do with new user acquisition in Japan, but that's a separate topic. |
Alex Chitu: your data from Jan. 08 is not very accurate. Comscore has a much bleaker picture (although Comscore's data is not that great it is better than the Motoko Hunt quote.)
