Gmail chat logs all conversations in your gmail account and with google talk, each message is logged as soon as it reaches google. With AIM, that doesn't seem to be the case. I was in the beginning of a conversation with someone over AIM when i was oddly disconnected from both networks but i was immediately reconnected. When i looked at the logs in gmail, the conversation was missing. The lines after i was reconnected were there, but not what was before the disconnection-- even though it was still in the chat box itself.

Nothing too interesting, just thought i'd share the discovery. Anybody figured out how to connect to AIM using the gmail transport yet (so that i can use AIM in my desktop client and still have it logged in GMail)?
