Mmm I bet it will be launched Monday night ;-) |
it is almost here! see icons on madrid, valencia, sevilla and barcelona |
I can already see it in the UK using Google Maps France |
I can see it to now, earlier this evening i've checked and there was nothing there. I see three cities, Valencia, Sevilla and Madrid. |
yeah – i can see it too, in google earth and maps... valencia, madrid, sevilla AND barcelona.
coverage seems to be more limited than what you get in other streetview countries – and is restricted to the cities themselves.. doesnt appear to venture out into surrounding towns...
|
this is just so awesome.
retracing my tapas bar beer crawl in Madrid, circa 1998...
i hope they expand the coverage in Spain – especially in the coastal resorts. it could do wonders for the spanish tourism industry.

Sevilla has a name in English, Seville |
Google launched Australia street view in early August, I thought [danielwang130.blogspot.com/2008/08/street- view-australia-is-live.html]. Obviously, I am a bad predictor, just need a little bit more patience....... |
[Edit: Thanks Daniel, I changed it from Sevilla to Seville.] |
nice.
But 360cities is better, if smaller ;-)

Any chance your photographers will venture into Madrid, Jeffrey? Imagine 360cities panoramas of gorgeous Parque del Buen Retiro ... |
South country + sunny summer = $HotChicks++ |
the camera "streeview" icon no longer appears if you zoom out in google maps. just blotches of blue...
