TechCrunch/ Steve Gillmor's intriguing analysis of the latest retargeting/ repositioning of Microsoft [ done in a very Kremlinologickal spirit, thus illustrated with picture of Dear Leaders on a tribune prior to, presumably, air-brushing off of Bill Gates...], "The Battle for Microsoft's Soul" concludes with these words:
"[...] the war for Microsoft's soul is over. By opening the platform to standards forged in large part by scripters, hackers, and especially competitors, Microsoft has leapfrogged into the lead for mindshare where it counts: inside the company."
