Kmike, if you read the the Shanghaiist post you will find they don't seem to make any judgments to the righteousness or wrongness of this move (by posting on it, they imply noteworthiness of some sort, naturally). I guess they decided it's better to leave this up to readers to make up their own mind, merely reporting on it.
