Ionut Alex. Chitu Sure, the best solution would be an interface à la Google Video, i.e with an addition panel to browse other results while watching a video.
But this little bar is still important to me, because I often have to refine my Image searches. Google Image isn't that so good, and I use many different keyword combination before either finding a correct picture or – more often – ending at Flickr, which has a very cool Creative-Commons license filter!
One feature at a time, sure, but I like this one as much as I like the new search field in embedded Youtube video (I'm also likely to browse the rest of the page but a discreet option is still welcome!). |

I think Microsoft has the best UI and the most advanced options for image search, but the results are less relevant than Google's results. Great related searches, infinite scrolling, refine by aspect ratio, increase thumbnails, easily move to the next result etc.
