I've been using Mac for more than a year and has installed Google Desktop, Picasa Web Album Uploader, but I have never seen this.
Anyone using Mac has seen this before? Thank you!

My guess is
Firest: it may have something to do with the Mac version of Google Earth plugin – it's big(47MB and took 147MB during install).
I installed it yesterday and the Google Software Update showed today.
Second: it may be related with the Gmail Chat plugin – as it asks me to install it though I have installed the plugin(don't know the version, maybe there's a new version available)
Anyone has any idea? |
Ah, I find it out. My first guess is (partly) correct:

I think Google Software is similar to GoogleUpdate.exe on Windows. GoogleUpdate.exe updates automatic the following Software on Windows: Gears, Talk Labs Edition, Gmail Talk Plugin, Lively and Google Chrome. All these softwares have an online installer.
I think Google started now the same for mac |
I saw it today :) Updating my Gmail Chat Plugin |
