Has any of you read this article? I write my degree paper on Machine Translation, including Google Translator, so I wanna ask whether this future technologies mentioned in the text are to be true or are this only specualtions (Google BRowser, Google Instant Messenger, Google Babelfish – the most abstract one).

Does any of you know the author of this article? I would really appreciate if I could get into contact with him!

As the article (blogoscoped.com/archive/2005-0 ...) says, it's a speculative list of products. Though as the article is from 2005, some of the items on the list may be released or half-released by now.
