After you add a Theme from the Themes For Causes section, it adds a donate link to that cause on your iGoogle page.

If your using the special top tabs link, http://www.google.com/ig?hl=all , you will not see the donate link. But if you use the normal language link http://www.google.com/ig?hl=en you will see the donate links.

So how does one submit a theme for the Cause Themes? I created a theme for a non-profit organization that I work for, but there wasn't any place to choose to add it to the causes. I'd appreciate some help.

It might have been an invite only theme submission. I tried looking at contact info for all of the themes for causes and they all point to the same URL:

It seems iGoogle has a bug when trying to contact a theme creator. They all point to fidel[put at-character here]cubancouncil.com.
