Cool, I've wanted a way to find HD video exclusively since the HD trials began. Good work, though the larger player adds even more inconsistency.

I just love that the YouTube team is constantly experimenting and trying new things, rather than being terrified of breaking the magic. Too many startups go into a permanent form of stasis after acquisition, and it's been impressive that YouTube's managed to avoid that state.

...and in a little while, we'll be experiencing the true quality of HD, using H.264.

Oh, and speaking of HD, I hope Philipp soon sets blogoscped to embed videos at a ratio of 16:9.

I have uploaded the entire movie in DVDRip format here:

It's about 700 MB, but the quality is really good. Audio and Video

Check it out and lemme know works!

Add &fmt=18 to the end of many YouTube videos, and if they're in stereo, they'll play in stereo, where the normal format is to play even some stereo videos in mono. Each YouTube account holder's preferences also contains a setting you can change, to cause all videos to play at highest quality--check your prefs--but this doesn't force all stereo vids to play in stereo.
