"It only seems like yesterday that the T-Mobile G1 was released but it seems we are already looking ahead to a remodel and some very nice new features."

Fake. Like a spec sheet would boast about EDGE when the G1 has much faster HSDPA. Like a spec sheet would mention T-zones which is very limited compared to where you can go with the Android browser. |
I think there won't be a G2.
G = Google integration 1 = First Android phone
The rest of the phones will no longer be special and I don't think Google will co-brand another phone. |
> I don't think Google will co-brand another phone
I don't think the Google logo is for branding the hardware. I think it's because, in addition to the open source Android software, the phone includes some proprietary Google software applications.
I assume that any phone manufacturer can negotiate with Google to include the software and the logo (presumably with some money changing hands). |
You guys are talking about the Sony Ericsson phone that has Android in it? |
