The scrollbar at the bottom gets locked, so you can't skip the AD.

You'll have to check the video, from youtube. The AD doesn't get displayed in the embedded player.

I block doubleclick.net in the hosts file and the video doesn't start automatically. I only see "connecting to ad.doubleclick.net" and the message from your first screenshot.

If I understand correctly, YouTube shows two video ads (pre-roll and post-roll) that can't be skipped?! This must be a mistake because those ads are suited for long form videos, not for 2 min videos.
