lol, I still don't understand why Gawker and Techrunch have used Facbook Connect rather than FriendConnect... I mean doesn't FriendConnect offer much more choice to users? Why is FriendConnect's adoption so low? What about people without a facebook (as there are many in Ireland, Australia etc.)

Also, why dois MySpace have MySpaceID? Aren't they part of OpenSocial and FriendConnect?

Because you can't integrate FriendConnect with a comment system like Gawker's. FriendConnect only offers some widgets.
