Like usual, I picked up my Zune player to listen to my music and found my Zune player frozen. To my surprise, none of the resetting techniques worked! So I went on line, and surely enough, everyone's Zune player froze and is not reacting to any kinds of resets. Also, remember that Zune players have the battery built in, so you cannot just reinsert it. It almost feels like Y2K.... spooky!!?

lolll...
Typical Microsoft :) |
Get this, Every Zune player broke today with no way to repair!! No way to repair!
I can't wait to see what happens to it..... I'm actually starting to wonder if that's going to hit the front pages of New York Times, tomorrow. |
Apparently there is a routine that keeps looping while it is the 366th day of the year.

I have not checked to see if that is the authentic code. The zuneboards comment might be a joke.
Microsoft has a "fix". http://www.zune.net/en-us/support/zune30.htm http://www.pcworld.com/article/156248/microsofts_official_fix_for_failing_zunes.html
Warning: In the future do not connect your Zune 30 to your computer if it may be the 366th day of the year in any time zone.

How on earth did M$FT f*** up this badly?
A Microsoft product that actualy stops you from using it rather than you deciding to stop using it.... although that comment is a bit hypocritical as I'm currently using Windows 7 beta :) |
Instructions how to fix the situation at http://www.zune.net/en-us/support/zune30.htm too. |
Thanks for the updates, guys. It is funny to see something like this ever happen :) |
