In our country we changed currency from Slovak Koruna to Euro and Google made Doodle for us.

Spelling their name GOOGL€ seems eerily analogous to writing MICRO$OFT. |
not for us... this is the celebration, Euro has 10 years... |
Roger: lol.. don't worry, Google won't become Micro$oft.. :)
(Even though Euros is worth more than Dollars.. :P) |
hm .. yeah .. logo is ready allright ..
but what abut the fact that google still thinks that we are using SKKs and it's converting EURO <-> SKK badly? e.g:
"1 Euro = 29.5818287 Slovak koruna"
|
Right, with http://www.google.sk/search?hl=sk&q=1+euro&btnG=H%C4%BEada%C5%A5&meta=
What is the correct answer, BTW? |
the fixed exchange rate of €1 = SKK 30.1260.

This doodle was only in Slovakia. In other countries it was sth with monkeys wishing happy new year...so it wasnt to celebrate euro 10 eyars birthday |
I was in slovakia this year during new year and I have used the google exchange calculator hundereds of times... now that I found out that it wasn't my mistake that my quick conversations never seemed to work out (assuming google was all knowing :P) what would be a reliable/official source for exchange rates+calculator...? |
David: 1 € = 30,126 SKK ;-) |
