<<According to someone who claims to work at Google, we may be seeing an Apple version of their popular photo management software at the 2009 Macworld Expo. This unconfirmed rumor does definitely sound plausible, considering a Google representative said earlier this year that a Mac version would be available “later this year“.>>
The article has much more info, including quotes from Google Employee's, but it is still a rumour... One that I hope is true :) |
This conference wil start on Monday 5th Jan already http://www.macworldexpo.com/SitePage.aspx?site=9&id=251ab4d9-2fb1-4bc3-acc3-db21b381d8aa |
And I'll be there! (In my dreams :/)
Seriously though, I can't wait. I'm hoping for Picasa:Mac and Chrome:Mac information from Google, and from Apple I predict:
1. The 17 inch MacBook Pro will be upgraded to the unibody design in line with the 15 inch. (Apple has confirmed this was coming) 2. Updates to Mac Mini and iMac. Well Mac Mini has been a long time coming, and the iMac design, well, is getting a little old... 3. Bragging about Mac Market Share etc. 4. Snow Leopard Preview.
What I hope for(These would be cool, and I think are coming soon, but it would be too much to announce in one day):
1. iWork 09 and iLife 09. iMovie 09 should bring the old features of iMovie HD to the Redesigned iMovie 08 experience, among other improvements to both suites. 2. Snow Leopard release. I think this might be kept off until WWDC, but maybe they will announce it ships in say... March (In time for my birthday:D) |
