"New Tab" can be disabled from Google Toolbar's settings. Philipp asked about the feature from Google Chrome, which can't be disabled.

Google Notebook integration appears to have been removed from the latest version. Standalone extension is still available for firefox btw.

I hope you do know the Page Rank feature can be disabled. But it works OK for me.

Yes I know, but it's 50% of why I install the Google Toolbar in the first place.... (the other 50% being the "translate page" button). Admittedly those features can also be emulated with bookmarklets. I'm currently typing "pr" into the address bar when at a given URL, which opens a box which shows the PageRank. For those who have installed Tab Mix Plus and the "Google new tab page" doesn't work. Please go to Extensions/Tab Mix Plus/Options/Events and change "Load on new tabs:" to "User Location" and in "Location:" put "chrome://google-toolbar/content/new-tab.html"
