I agree... the next Picasa should allow us to stitch images just like Windows Live Photo Gallery does. And the UI should be much sleeker like Chrome with Geotagging, Face-, Color-, Object- Recognition like Image Search.
ImHo, Panoramio should be merged with Picasaweb. Besides, Picasa had its own publish as public or private feature.
Oh well, I guess Panoramio is for tourist-photographer-loves-attractions-zone only since they doesn't allow to log-in with your Google account.
