If this is the case, it would be a major addition to Docs, especially Presentations.

This could also be an enhanced clip art feature instead of a full drawing program. Or it could be something in between like Microsoft Office's WordArt features.

It'll be coming to Google Docs. Based from that icon above.. it really looked like a canvas program.

Look at OOO Draw icon:

Do you have any idea Google acquired an online canvas/graphics editor? like Writely for Docs...Or they just did it.
anyhow it'll be much useful if they feature an equation editor rather than this..

I agree with Sheldon that it would be a nice addition to Presently. That program is lacking a lot in the way of drawing – especially basic shapes. It would be nice to have a decent set of basic shapes already available in all the Docs apps. And, if they are making a drawing or clipart component in Docs, it too should be available to all 3 apps in the suite. And to really help it take off, create a user-shared warehouse like the Google 3D model warehouse for Sketchup/Earth. That way, everyone can share their drawings/shapes/clipart – which I think would help Apps gain a lot of content and more users.
