The linked blog post is total drivel by a blogger with an agenda. The Linux share of low-end notebooks has risen from 0% a few years ago to 10% now and is continuing to rise.

Sure, there was a brief higher statistical "blip" when the term "netbook" was invented around the time of the Eee PC, but that's of no consequence to the longer-term trend.
