I'm on my iphone and there's a new version of Google Mobile... The header at the top of Google services is new, it looks more like tabs now and there's a "more" option like the desktop version with additional services. |
If you go to mobile Gmail, Calendar, or Docs you'll see the new "tab" look. |
The new mobile header also shows for mobile Reader, Talk, Books, Translate, and Tasks. |
Here's a screen shot I took... As you can see, the colorful Google logo is in the mobile header now, and the "more" option opens up the list of services like the desktop version...

As of this morning, I'm seeing this new header on my iPhone too.
Even thought the dropdown is good, you used to be able to customize the tabs at the top but I can't see any way to do that now. Can you? |
Correct, it doesn't look like the tabs can be customized anymore, but they do change a little depending on what service you're on...
It appears that the Google logo, then Gmail, then Calendar, then Docs, then "more" is standard... and if you go to one of the other services that support this new header, that service will replace "Docs" at the top while you're in that service. (For example, the "Reader" service in the image above.) |
Juha-Matti, you need to change your user-agent to an iPhone one and then just access: http://www.google.com/m |
Something else to note, the home screen icon has change too:

(It used to look more like a 3D button.) |
